Dr. Selman is one of the leading specialists in the field of reproductive medicine in Turkey. He obtained his narrow medical specialisation at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dokuz Eylul University (Izmir, Turkey). In 2002, he received his associate professor degree and worked as an assistant professor at Celal Bayar University in Manisa. At various stages of his medical career, he has participated in large-scale international research in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology at the Karolinska Institute (Sweden), the IVF and Reproductive Technology Centre supported by Tel Aviv University (Israel), and the GATA IVF Centre (Ankara, Turkey). He is the author of more than 80 scientific papers and 4 books. Thanks to his scientific and practical activities, the doctor has one of the best statistical indicators in performing in vitro fertilisation of various levels of complexity. He headed the IVF centre at the Memorial Clinic from 2004 to 2007, and then (from 2007 to 2008) he was the founder of the IVF centre at the Medical Park Bahçelievler Clinic. Since 2008, the doctor has been the founder and director of the Reproductive Medicine and IVF Centre at the Medicana Beylikdüzü Clinic.
